Word Chase

What to do:

1. Begin with children sitting in a circle.
2. Start the game by saying a word such as “red” to the child next to you. The child repeats the word to the next child, and so on, until the word makes it around the complete circle back to you.
3. Once the children understand the process, gradually start introducing new words more frequently until the children can keep a number of words going through the circle at one time. Go as fast as children are capable of going.
4. You might have the children take turns being the word starter.
