Visit the Farm or Zoo

What to do:

  1. Take the children to the farm or zoo to observe the animals.
  2. Practice making animal sounds on the way to and from the visit.
  3. Act out ways the animals moved or looked.
  4. Have them draw pictures of what they saw during their visit.
  5. Read books such as “1, 2, 3 to the Zoo” or “Biscuit Visiting a Farm.”
