The Sounds of the Circus

What to do:

  1. Show the children the pictures one at a time, and discuss the sound that could be associated with each picture. Ask the children to agree to a certain sound for each picture.
  2. Arrange pictures in patterns and have the children make the sounds in sequence. For example, the children might read pictures lion, lion, audience, lion, lion, audience as: “roar,” “roar,” “yeah,” “roar,” “roar,” “yeah!” You will need multiple cards with the same pictures.
