The Sounds of the Circus
What to do:
- Show the children the pictures one at a time, and discuss the sound that could be associated with each picture. Ask the children to agree to a certain sound for each picture.
- Arrange pictures in patterns and have the children make the sounds in sequence. For example, the children might read pictures lion, lion, audience, lion, lion, audience as: “roar,” “roar,” “yeah,” “roar,” “roar,” “yeah!” You will need multiple cards with the same pictures.
