The Sound Effects Story

What to do:

1. Show children how to use tape recorder, especially how to record several different sounds onto one tape.
2. Have children retell a favorite story or make up their own.
3. Have them add sound effects, such as door closing, phone ringing, dog barking, etc.
4. Enjoy listening to the story with them.
5. They also might enjoy writing a book to go along with the tape they have made.
