Snake Dance
What to do:
- Have the children make a snake by forming a line of not more than 10 children. Have them put their hands upon the shoulders or waist of the child ahead of them.
- The first child or teacher leads the rest of the children in a line around the room or playground.
Variation:
- Another game is to have the front child (the snake’s head), try to tag the end child (the tail), upon the sign “go.”
- Anyone breaking the line causes the snake to die. A new snake is formed by the head becoming the tail and the next child moving up.
