Seaside Texture Pictures

What to do

1. Have sand, cornmeal, or salt available for children to sprinkle on to create a bumpy texture. As they paint beach or ocean pictures.
2. Paint areas of a completed picture with diluted white glue first so the texture will stick.
3. Scraps of sandpaper or shapes cut out of sandpaper can also be glued onto areas of the picture for interesting textures.
