Scented Mittens

What to do:

  1. Stack two dryer sheets together.
  2. Place one hand on the dryer sheets and use a marker to trace a mitten shape around the hand.
  3. Cut out mitten, keeping both sheets together.
  4. Using the yarn needle with supervision, sew the dryer sheets together, leaving the bottom open.

This activity needs adult supervision!

Variations:

  • After tracing the mitten, sew together using a running stitch and then cut out.
  • For younger children, use mitten shapes cut out of wallpaper samples. Use a hole punch to punch holes around the edge of the mitten. Then sew up with yarn and a blunt needle.
