Puddle Time
What to do:
- Pour a small amount of water onto a sidewalk to show children what a puddle looks like.
- Ask children to cut out puddle-shaped pieces of paper.
- Place the puddles on the floor, putting them close enough to be able to step from one to the other.
- Pretend the papers are puddles and jump from one to another. This is a good activity for when it’s very wet outside, or during the winter when everyone is longing for spring.
