Popcorn Snowmen
What to do:
- Have children draw a shape of a snowman on a piece of paper.
- Let children glue popped popcorn onto paper to fill in large shapes of snowman.
- Count the kernels, compare how many are in different snowmen, see how many you can squeeze into one place, or how many fit in a row across a sheet of paper
Variation:
- Children can use single pieces of popped corn to make rows of small snowmen.
- Children may try to eat popcorn. To prevent choking, children under 3 should not do this activity.
