Popcorn Snowmen

What to do:

  1. Have children draw a shape of a snowman on a piece of paper.
  2. Let children glue popped popcorn onto paper to fill in large shapes of snowman.
  3. Count the kernels, compare how many are in different snowmen, see how many you can squeeze into one place, or how many fit in a row across a sheet of paper

Variation:

  • Children can use single pieces of popped corn to make rows of small snowmen.
  • Children may try to eat popcorn. To prevent choking, children under 3 should not do this activity.
