Newspaper Crumple

What to do:

  1. Rub an infant’s hand across an old colored advertisement from the newspaper. Choose one that has bright colors. Say, “Smooth.”
  2. Rip the paper, saying, “Listen.”
  3. Crumple the paper and again say, “Listen.”
  4. Give the paper to the infant, saying “Rough.”
  5. Give another piece of paper to the baby and say, “Now you do it.”
