Milk Carton Wind Catchers

What to do:

  1. Use empty, clean, cardboard milk containers of any size (pint, quart, half gallon).
  2. Ask children to draw, then cut doors in the four sides of their container. One of the long sides of the doors should be left uncut, so the door has a hinge. All of the doors should open the same way.
  3. Once all four doors are folded open, hang the milk carton where it will catch the wind by punching a hole in the top and hanging by string.
  4. The wind will twirl the carton around by blowing on the open doors.
