Milk Carton Wind Catchers
What to do:
- Use empty, clean, cardboard milk containers of any size (pint, quart, half gallon).
- Ask children to draw, then cut doors in the four sides of their container. One of the long sides of the doors should be left uncut, so the door has a hinge. All of the doors should open the same way.
- Once all four doors are folded open, hang the milk carton where it will catch the wind by punching a hole in the top and hanging by string.
- The wind will twirl the carton around by blowing on the open doors.
