Make Paper Snowflakes

What to do:

1. Have children fold paper of any sort, even newspaper, into quarters.
2. Let them use scissors to cut pieces out of each folded section.
3. When unfolded, the pieces become snowflakes to be hung or used as window decorations.
4. If children are older, fold the paper into sixths to make more realistic flakes.
5. Children can compare shapes and patters with each others’ flake creations.
