Hand Flannelboard

What to do:

  1. Cover one side of the tag board with one of the 6– by 7-inch pieces of felt.
  2. Take the second 6– by 7-inch piece of felt and glue it to the back of the board along three edges to form a pocket on the back of the board.
  3. Use this flannelboard with one child or a small group of children. You or one of the children should place a hand in the pocket to hold the board upright. The felt story figures will adhere to the board.
  4. You can use this flannelboard with small groups of children to help teach concepts of colors, numbers, letters, and shapes.
