Hand Flannelboard
What to do:
- Cover one side of the tag board with one of the 6– by 7-inch pieces of felt.
- Take the second 6– by 7-inch piece of felt and glue it to the back of the board along three edges to form a pocket on the back of the board.
- Use this flannelboard with one child or a small group of children. You or one of the children should place a hand in the pocket to hold the board upright. The felt story figures will adhere to the board.
- You can use this flannelboard with small groups of children to help teach concepts of colors, numbers, letters, and shapes.
