Exploring Ramps
What to do:
- Use assorted flat surfaces and place books or some prop under one end of the surface.
- Ask children to explore what slides down the ramp and what doesn’t. Toy cars and balls, dolls, blocks, natural materials from outside can be compared to see how they slide and how fast.
- Chart which items slide and which ones do not.
