Egg Carton Sorting

What to do:

  1. Empty egg cartons can be used for sorting small items such as buttons, seeds, or small toys.
  2. Give children lots of small items, and let them decide how to sort—by color, size, use, etc.
  3. Chart the results.
  • Due to choking hazards, this activity is not intended for children under 3 years of age.
