Drum Rhythm Instruments

What to do:

  1. Give children empty oatmeal containers, margarine tubs or snack chip tubes.
  2. Let children decorate with construction paper, markers, fabric, etc.
  3. Have children pat or thump the tube or box end that has a cover.
  4. Try several sizes for different sound effects.
  5. Play music and let children play their drums along to the music.
