Butterfly Blots

What to do:

1. Fold a piece of paper in half.
2. Ask the children to drop a teaspoon of some color paint onto one half of the paper.
3. Ask the child to fold the paper together and press on the spot where the paint is.
4. When the paper is opened up, the symmetrical design can represent a butterfly. Some children might want to add features to represent the head and legs.
