Balance It

What to do:

  1. Have children balance a stiff paper plate on top of a plastic cup.
  2. Have them use small items from around the room or from outside to see how long they can add items before the plate tips.
  3. Try again with different items, or see if they can use the same items and not lose the balance this time.
  • Due to choking hazards, this activity is not intended for children under three years of age.
