Baby Talk
What to do:
- Talk with baby when you are feeding, diapering, bathing, and doing other routine tasks.
- Use simple but grammatically correct sentences to help the baby learn language.
- For example, you might say, “Sally, I think you are hungry now. I’m going to pick you up and give you your bottle.” Describing what we are doing helps babies connect our actions with our words.
