Animal Sort
What to do:
- Copy several pages of animal sorting cards.
- Cover with clear contact paper to make them more sturdy.
- Cut on dotted lines.
- Have children sort by type of animal and put all the cards that match together.
Variations:
- Draw different animals and make up your own sorting cards. Or, for older children, draw different kinds of fish, different kinds of dogs, and so forth. See if the children can put all dogs together, even if they do not look exactly alike.
