Animal Homes
What to do:
- Take children on a walk around the neighborhood and observe places where animals live (bird nests, squirrel nests, ground hog holes).
- Let children draw what they saw or make replicas from natural materials.
- Discuss the types of homes and why that animal prefers that home.
