Animal Dice

What to do:

1. Using the pattern, make 3-inch dice with a different animal picture on each side.
2. Each morning, assign an animal to a group of children (e.g., “Today, you can be cats.”). When needing to transition from one activity, such as group time, to another, such as washing hands, roll the dice and whichever group’s animal picture comes up can go to the next activity. Roll again when it is time for the next group to go.
3. For younger children, you may want to use only three different animal pictures.
